Lee Jun Hyuk Turns Up the Intensity as a Violent Crimes Detective in “The Art of Sarah”

Netflix has unveiled new stills of Lee Jun Hyuk as Moo-kyung in the upcoming series, The Art of Sarah, offering a first look at the character’s razor-sharp presence.

The Art of Sarah follows Sara Kim, a woman desperate to become a luxury brand herself, even if it means being a beautifully crafted fake— and Moo-kyung, the man determined to chase down the truth buried in her story.

The newly released stills paint Moo-kyung as a powerhouse of calm intensity. As a superintendent in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Violent Crimes Investigation Unit, he’s assigned to the shocking case of Sara Kim (Shin Hye Sun), who is discovered frozen to death with her face brutally disfigured in the heart of Cheongdam’s luxury district. Standing before a screen filled with reports and statements, Moo-kyung exudes an unwavering drive— the kind of detective who doesn’t let go once he catches the scent of the truth.

In one still, he sits in an interrogation room, wearing a subtly relaxed expression that hints at confidence and complete control. In another, his visibly shaken reaction hints at the unraveling chaos that awaits him as the mystery deepens.

Lee Jun Hyuk, known for his wide acting range in Love Scout, Stranger, and Mercy For None, is set to portray Moo-kyung with chilling precision, a man who barrels forward with single-minded obsession to unearth the truth about Sara Kim.

Packed with unpredictable twists and a haunting central mystery, Lady Dua aims to grip viewers from the first episode. The series premieres exclusively on Netflix on Friday, February 13.
