Director Lee Sang-geun of Exit fame returns with a hilariously twisted tale in Pretty Crazy, a devil-possessed comedy spiced with mischief, mystery, and unexpected heart.
Newly released stills tease the quirky chemistry between Im Yoon Ah and Ahn Bo Hyun, who play two wildly mismatched characters caught in a supernatural mess.
In the film, Ahn Bo Hyun stars as Gil-gu, a sweet but jobless young man who lands an unusual gig—spying on Seon-ji, played by Im Yoon-ah, a seemingly ordinary bakery owner who unknowingly transforms into a powerful demon each morning. What starts as a bizarre part-time job turns into a soul-snatching ordeal as Gil-gu is dragged—quite literally—into Seon-ji’s demonic world.
Im Yoon Ah charms as Seon-ji, an effortlessly captivating woman with a hidden dark side, while Bo-hyun balances her intensity with his portrayal of a gentle, puppy-like guardian who’s way out of his depth. From awkward night shifts to moments of unexpected tenderness, their onscreen dynamic promises both laughs and surprises.
The stills capture Gil-gu nervously holding up dual straws so the demon Seon-ji can hydrate—a small but telling glimpse of the absurdity and devotion in their strange relationship.
Reflecting on their collaboration, Yoon-ah shared, “We got really close during filming, and I think that natural ease translated into our scenes together.” Ahn Bo-hyun praised her warmth and professionalism, saying, “I learned so much from her. She’s the kind of actor I hope to work with again.”
