Good Girl Boo Semi follows a struggling female bodyguard who enters a contract marriage with a terminally ill conglomerate chairman, only to find herself entangled in a dangerous inheritance chase.
Directed by Kidnapping Day’s Park Yoo-young and penned by Owl screenwriter Hyun Gyu-ri, the series is slated for release in late 2025.
Jeon Yeo Been, the chameleon of acting, will morph into Kim Young-ran, a woman thrust into the glittering, yet treacherous, world of “Busemi,” a fabricated persona dripping in luxury. It’s a 180-degree flip from her humble beginnings, and she’ll have to play the part perfectly to survive.
Jinyoung, with his irresistible charm, steps into the boots of Jeon Dong-min, a rural strawberry farmer with a sharp eye and a wary heart. He’s the only one who sees through Busemi’s (Jeon Yeo-bin) facade, transforming from a prickly skeptic to a surprising hero.
Seo Hyun Woo will deliver a masterclass in ambition as Lee Don, the conglomerate chairman’s shrewd lawyer, a man who clawed his way to the top and now seeks to rewrite his destiny.
Jang Yoon Ju is poised to stun audiences with her portrayal of Ga Seon-yeong, the stepdaughter with a picture-perfect exterior masking a ruthless ambition. Expect a thrilling display of duality!
Rounding out this powerhouse cast is Joo Hyun Young, who takes on Baek Hye-ji, the enigmatic housekeeper with a mix of sweetness and mystery. Her unpredictable presence will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
