A content feast is coming your way from Kakao Entertainment!
Kakao Entertainment will present various works in the second half of this year, including the movie Revolver, Netflix series Gyeongseong Creature Season 2, and Zombieverse Season 2.
On July 10, Kakao Entertainment revealed its lineup of works for the second half of the year and stated, “We will present laughter, excitement, and emotion to domestic and global viewers across platforms such as global online video services (OTT), screens, and TV.”
The films to be released this year are the crime thriller Revolver starring Jeon Do Yeon, Ji Chang Wook, and Lim Ji Yeon, which is scheduled to be released on August 7, and Mission: Cross starring Hwang Jung Min, Yum Jung Ah, and Jeon Hye Jin, which will be released on Netflix next month.
For the second half of the year, the crime drama Gangnam B-Side starring Jo Woo Jin and Ji Chang Wook will be released on Disney+, while season 2 of Gyeongseong Creature starring Park Seo Jun and Han So Hee will be released on Netflix.
Entertainment content is also about to be released. The Influencer, which features actual influencers competing against each other, will be released on Netflix on August 6, and Zombieverse season 2, which deals with the participants’ struggles for survival in a world overrun by zombies, will also be released on Netflix in the second half of the year.
The number of dramas, movies, and entertainment shows that Kakao Entertainment is planning and producing this year is around 40.
Nine Puzzles, a new Disney+ series starring Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku, is currently in production, directed by Yoon Jong-bin of Narco Saints.
They are also producing Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines starring IU and Park Bo Gum; Karma starring Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, and Lee Hee Joon; and Two Women starring Kim Go Eun, Park Ji Hyun, and Kim Gun Woo.
