Marry My Husband Episode 7 Highlights
Recognizing they both were given second chances to live, Ji-hyuk picks up on what so far Ji-won learned about her new life.
“Avoiding is not the answer. Either way, the inevitable will happen if I don’t give my fate to someone else.”
She tells him that what’s bound to happen will happen so she wants to make Min-hwan and Su-min marry each other.
Ji-hyuk who wakes up to his new life actually had an encounter with the mysterious taxi driver aka Ji-won’s father after sending off Ji-won to her final resting place.
He pours out his regret and conveys what he will do if he can have a second chance.
Meanwhile, at work, the meal kit plan still proceeds with Assistant Manager Yang as the leader and with Ji-won, Min-hwan and Su-min also joining the same team.
Assessing his situation, Ji-hyuk needs to repress his emotions for Ji-won to prevent his grandfather’s meddling who already sent his trusted aide to join the office he is managing. That’s also the reason why he did not opt for Ji-won to lead the meal kit project.
“Be that person to me. I know you are willing to do everything to help me. But I want to do it on my own.”
At the marketing team building activity, Ji-won confronts the realization of how Su-min did everything by asking for help on things she badly wanted. Bumping into Ji-hyuk, she answers his previous confession and tells him that she wants to rely on her strength. At the same moment, Su-min has also lured Hyun-min in another faint teasing.
Even when Ji-hyuk reveals that Ji-won’s father gave his second chance to live, she still insists on doing things on her own. Going to the stream to get the treasure that will give her the top prize, she is pulled back by Ji-hyuk who overheard that the stream’s water level is not good.
Chiding her action, Ji-won pours out her emotions declaring she would endure her fight to prove that doing things fair and square will give her strength. She won’t be like Su-min who uses underhand means and evil intentions to get what she wants.
Answering Ji-won’s question of what makes him happy, he tells her how he wants to be a solid land. That night when she was drunk at the park, she told him that she did not want to feel floating since her father died.
Marry My Husband Episode 7 Musings
Understanding Ji-won’s viewpoint at this point in the story might be hard, especially since as she also said, only Ji-hyuk can understand her in the situation she’s in. But viewers can wait to see if she will have a change of heart. Most likely, she might get swayed if it involves Ji-hyuk who is still yet to reveal details about his death.
Ji-won’s intention to summon her “I got this” spirit springs from what she learned in her past life. So, that’s understandable.
Surprisingly, Su-min did not use the chip card she had discovered about Ji-won’s stock investment. Or maybe this will be part of her elaborate plan with Min-hyun who is foreseen to hit rock bottom and would ask Ji-won to marry him.
Let’s hope Ji-hyuk just straightly confesses why he is extra fond of Ji-won so she can understand his actions to become her black knight.
