In The Impossible Heir, Lee Jae Wook is set to prove his ever-growing acting depth.
The Impossible Heir threads on how the illegitimate son of a Korean conglomerate owner partners with his ambitious childhood friend who stops at nothing to seize their place at the top of the societal food chain.
Portraying Han Tae-oh, a person with an outstanding brain and cool-headed disposition, he ran away from the world due to his evil father. He wants to escape from the bottom of his life, approaches Kang In-ha (Lee Jun Young), the extramarital son of a chaebol family, forms an alliance, and hatches a plan to take the highest throne in South Korea.
Lee Jae Wook plans to color Han Tae-oh, a character who has strong desires and strategically takes control of the situation, while always maintaining his poker face, in a cool and strong manner with solid acting skills.
Introducing his character, Lee Jae Wook shares about Tae-oh’s attitude.
“Once he sets a goal, he is a persistent character who pursues it until the end and solves it. He is a person with a good poker face and does not show his claws when solving a problem.”
He also relays his character preparations.
“I made a lot of changes to my acting to hide the expressive part and show the inner part in detail. I think I will be able to show my delicate, calm, and persistent side through The Impossible Heir.”
Director Min Yeon-hong, who was in charge of directing, promised viewers would be drawn to Lee’s new character.
“Watching actor Lee Jae-wook’s progress, I was impressed by the way he expressed various characters in depth. At the same time, I liked that he was an actor who fully radiated his charm. He was always serious and did not want to show his emotions easily. I think viewers will be able to sympathize with him and feel his charm.”
The Impossible Heir starring Lee Jae Wook is scheduled to be released on February 28th.
