Rowoon Expresses Sweet Thoughts About “Destined With You”

Ahead of the final broadcast, the male lead of Destined With You conveys gratefulness for the drama.

Through his agency, FNC Entertainment, he also relays his affection to his character, Jang Shin-yu.

I was happy to be able to show the character of Jang Shin-yu, whom I loved so much. This is a work in which I really tried to show Shin-yu’s various sides. I understand the loneliness and pain that he has. I tried my best, and I received a lot of comfort while playing Shin-yu. It is a work that I put my sincerity into with the staff and actors who worked with me.”

He added, “I was able to finish well thanks to the support of many people. I hope that Shin-yu, whom I loved so much, will be remembered for a long time.”

Rowoon played the role of Jang Shin-yu, a lawyer under a curse, in the JTBC Wednesday-Thursday drama Destined With You. Unlike the chic and arrogant roles, he played in the past, Rowoon was reborn as a romantic comedy master who captured both romance and comedy by expressing Shin-yu’s changing emotions from cheesy romantic lines to hilarious comic acting.

When looking at Hong Jo (played by Jo Bo Ah), his melting gaze caused excitement, and his love declarations, cute speech, and ad-libs heightened the delightful charms of the series.

In addition, Rowoon also plays Jang Mu-jin, Jang Shin-yu’s previous life, and has established himself as an all-round actor who is good at not only modern dramas but also historical dramas.

Mu-jin has a tragic fate and is forced to kill the woman he loves. Rowoon captured all his sorrowful and earnest emotions in his eyes and facial expressions and even brought tears to the eyes of viewers with his delicate tearful acting.

Destined With You in which Rowoon appears, will air its final episode at 10:30 pm on October 12.
