“EVILIVE” To Simulcast On K-PLUS

Starring Shin Ha Kyun, Kim Young Kwang & Shin Jae Ha – Evilive tells the story of a down-to-earth and hardworking lawyer who inevitably gives in to desire and transforms into an elite villain while taking viewers into a gritty world.

In EVILIVE, Han Dong-soo (Shin Ha Kyun) is a hardworking lawyer who randomly selects prisoners to visit and find jobs for himself. Dong-soo’s half-brother, Han Beom-jae (Shin Jae Ha), works at a shop selling second-hand computers. He is also a case broker who introduces clients to his brother.

Beom-jae witnesses the change in the once rational Dong-soo, when he crosses over to the side of evil after taking on a case. The case involves Seo Do-Young (Kim Young Kwang) who is a high-ranked member of a crime organization. Behind his attractive looks, Seo Do-young hides cruelty and unpredictable madness.

Evilive

Shin Ha Kyun (Beyond Evil, Less than Evil, Inseparable Bros, Extreme Job) is a well-acclaimed actor who has been praised for all of his projects throughout the years of his acting career. He has won numerous awards such as Baeksang Arts Awards for Beyond Evil, Korean Association of Film Critics Awards for Inseparable Bros, Top Excellence Award for Less Than Evil and more.

Kim Young Kwang (Call It Love, Hello Me, The Guardians), who was known for his roles in romantic comedies, has been praised for his continuing efforts to try different genres and broaden his repertoire – fans can definitely look forward to his transformation into the ultimate villain in this upcoming action noir drama.

Shin Jae Ha is known for being a scene-stealer with his skillful acting, especially in recent hit dramas Crash Course in Romance and Taxi Driver 2.

EVILIVE is a 10-episode action noir drama written by Seo Hee and directed by Kim Jung-min. Director Kim Jung-min was the director of the action-thriller drama Bad Guys. He is recognized for his work on popular dramas like Bad Guys and Remarriage & Desires. Viewers can expect a well-crafted narrative that explores the intricacies of human nature in a dark setting.

EVILIVE will premiere on K-PLUS starting 14 October 2023, Saturday at 10.30pm (GMT+8). New episodes will air weekly every Saturday & Sunday at 10.30 pm (GMT+8).
