The Killing Vote

The Killing Vote Episode 7 Highlights

Setting a trap for the evil psychopath, the 7th episode of The Killing Vote reveals the case that tangled Professor Kwon and Teacher Lee.

“My justice is extremely rational.”

Previously, it was revealed how Professor Kwon exacted revenge on who he thought to be his daughter Narae’s murderer. However, the clues reveal that along the way, the real culprit was protected by his wealthy and powerful parents.

Teacher Lee who lives as Professor Kwon’s neighbor has a special fondness for the professor. Pampered by his parents he unreasonably thinks that his daughter, Narae, is taking his attention too much. After killing Narae, he also kidnaps her with the help of Woo-taek.

Woo-taek, the mentally challenged son of the family’s driver and housekeeper appears to stand as a shock absorber for all the wicked things Yun-seong (young Teacher Lee) does. That includes his special penchant to inflict harm and even death.

When Ji-hoon was asked for police questioning after being held hostage by Gaetal’s presumed accomplice, Teacher Lee accompanied him.

Uncooperative, Mu-chan begins a psy-war by directly asking him if he is Na-rae’s killer. Meanwhile, Ju Hyun goes to the computer lab of Ji-hoon and Min’s school to check for traces of Teacher Lee in their ongoing investigation.

Parting ways with Ji-hoon, the latter reminisces about his past, and it is revealed that he was almost adopted by Professor Kwon.

The Killing Vote Episode 7 Musings

While all clues point to Teacher Lee as Gaetal, the revelation of Ji-hoon’s connection to Professor Kwon also makes a reasonable claim that he could be affiliated with the justice-serving culprit. Especially since his reason could be because of the family that he almost had but fell into a tragic experience.

Featuring strong portrayals by both the protagonists and antagonists, the thrilling stride to the unearthing of Gaetal’s identity is approaching. With such an almost invincible villain, it would be curious how Mu-chan traps him.
