“AAA 2023” Adds Stray Kids, THE BOYZ, ITZY, Kwon Eunbi, and &TEAM As Confirmed Attendees

StarNews affirmed a new batch of K-Pop stars to attend AAA 2023, and it is surely a gift!

Presented by PULP Live World, StarNews, and TONZ Entertainment, for its 8th year, AAA shall be held in the hottest country in Southeast Asia that boasts its loudest, warmest, and most significant fan base in K-culture, the Philippines.

Considered Asia’s Oscars and Grammy Awards, AAA is a prestigious, one-of-its-kind South Korean award-giving body that recognizes artists from music, television, and film who made an outstanding impact on the Asian regions.

Previously, AAA 2023 announced the first round of K-Pop stars attending the event including NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, NMIXX, and ZEROBASEONE.

AAA 2023 also named Jang Wonyoung, Kang Daniel and ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin as hosts for the global NO.1 awards ceremony to be held in the Philippines.

In addition, the most recent announcement also affirmed Kim Seon Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Kim Sejeong and Moon Ga Young to grace the Asia Artist Awards 2023.

Presenting a new batch of artists set to light up AAA 2023, K-Pop fans are in for a treat with this latest announcement.

Stray Kids

Stray Kids (Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, I.N), who captivated global fans with their spectacular performances, won the Album of the Year Award and Best Choice Award in the Singer Category at 2022 AAA. With their 3rd full-length album ★★★★★ (5-STAR) released in June, they topped the US Billboard 200 chart for 3 consecutive weeks and especially charted on the Billboard main chart in the 13th week. It is gaining popularity over the long run.

Recently, they released their first EP album in Japan, with over 500,000 pre-orders, and ranked first on the Oricon daily album chart for three consecutive days. They are currently carrying out a large-scale dome tour in four cities in Japan, and are scheduled to perform at the Tokyo Dome on the 28th and 29th. Stray Kids will make their first appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (‘MTV VMAs’) held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, USA on the 13th (Korean time).

THE BOYZ

The Boyz (Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyeonjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Joo Haknyeon, Sunwoo, Eric), who won the Best Artist Award at 2022 AAA, released their second full-length album THE BOYZ 2ND ALBUM [PHANTASY] last August.

With the release of Pt.1 Christmas In August, the album showed off its global popularity by ranking at the top of not only domestic music charts but also the global iTunes top album charts in 17 countries, including Singapore, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia. Accordingly, The Boyz is expected to appear in front of fans with various contents as well as activities both domestically and internationally.

ITZY

ITZY (Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna), made a mark with their perfect performance, and won the Best Artist Award and the Asian Celebrity Award twice at 2022 AAA, solidifying their position as a global trending group.

In July this year, they successfully completed their activities by releasing their 7th mini album KILL MY DOUBT, and in April, they successfully completed their first world tour with 20 shows in 16 regions around the world, proving their global popularity.

Kwon Eunbi

Kwon Eunbi, who has been crowned the Water Bomb Goddess, is preparing for her third solo concert in October after completing her activities with The Flash. She is currently hosting the radio show Kwon Eun-bi’s Young Street with her eloquent speaking skills and sensibility.

In addition to this, Kwon Eun-bi’s future activities are also attracting attention as she is showing great success in various entertainment shows, broadcasts, and stages.

&TEAM

Lastly, &TEAM (K, Fuma, Nicholas, Uiju, Yuma, Joe, Harua, Taki, Maki) is a global group that debuted under Hybe Labels trial. &TEAM, who successfully completed their Korean activities with their 2nd mini album just 6 months after their debut, held a fan meeting last September and spent precious time with their fans. While differentiated global moves are expected, &TEAM is scheduled to release a full-length album in November.

The 2023 Asia Artist Awards IN THE PHILIPPINES, where you can meet movie, drama, and K-POP stars in one place, will be held at the Philippine Arena in the Philippines on December 14.
