Jung Hae In Transforms From A Charming Young Man Into A Fierce Immortal Being

Making his first sci-fi series, Jung Hae In took on a new challenge in Connect.

At the Disney Contents Showcase 2022, Jung Hae In expressed his satisfaction with his new series Connect. He will portray the character of Ha Dong-soo, a human being who never dies. Dong-soo was kidnapped by a group of human organ traffickers and cut out his eye.

Later on, he realized that the man who has his stolen eye is a serial killer. He now has the power to see what the serial killer sees. He used this opportunity to chase after Oh Jin-seop (Go Kyung Pyo) to stop him from killing more people.

Sharing filming memories, the actor recalled how he feels dizzy most of the time because he was required to wear an eyepatch throughout the filming. Despite this dilemma, he made sure to focus on the loneliness and solitude of the character. In addition, he disclosed that he took more computer graphics shots than ever before. He realized that the heroes of hero movies such as Marvel are amazing.

Connect

Bombarded with a lot of questions from reporters in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Philippines and Australia, he took this opportunity to thank Disney+, for showing his work to viewers all around the world. Jung also said that it was his first time making a film directed by a director of a different nationality. “In the play, the killer and my body are connected. Likewise, I felt that way with the director,” he added.

The potential viewers are setting their expectations high knowing that Takashi Miike will direct the Korean-made series Connect. The Japanese Director is known for being a master of the gore genre. The film drew attention both domestically and internationally from the planning stage.
