We usually preview all dramas. But to keep our sanity, we follow a rule to watch all the series up to its middle part, especially those with bad premieres. If there’s really no potential to improve, we give up on it and move on.
Also to comply with DMCA rules, there are dramas that we cannot recap. Thus, we can only write a review.

Ghost Doctor is a drama that illustrates the medical world – but with a dash of supernatural and a sprinkle of action. It narrates the story of a brilliant doctor Cha Young-min (Jung Ji Hoon). He is a thoracic surgeon possessing immense medical talent and could save patients with a single touch.
However, contrary to the typical selfless and kind main character, we get an egoistical and conceited male lead whose demeanor and appearance differ from the usual main characters with a superhero complex.
On the other hand, Ko Seung-tak (Kim Bum) is a gutsy privileged resident doctor. Ko Seung-tak is quite a peculiar character. Born in a family of medical practitioners, his vast medical knowledge intimidates professors.
Yet ironically, he often displays a bemused countenance. Despite the contrasting backgrounds of Seung-tak and Young-min, the two characters’ lives get entangled because of a fateful accident.

The series is a psychological investigative drama about Korea’s first profiler. Song Ha Young delves deeply into the thoughts of serial killers at the height of their evilness. He is also part of a criminal behavior analysis team at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

Starring Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran 내과 박원장 Internal Medicine Director Park (LT) is a medical comedy depicting the funny reality of a novice doctor who is not even smart.
Based on a webtoon of the same title, the focal character is sketched as an ordinary head of a household whose debts are increasing along with his thinning hair.
His life gets more hilarious with a wife who believes in TV show doctors and folk remedies more than her husband, who is a doctor.

All of Us Are Dead is about a group of high school students who are faced with an extreme crisis when they become trapped in their school, while a zombie virus spreads like a wildfire. It’s based on the chart-topping Korean webtoon called Now at Our School (literal translation of its Korean title).
Director Lee JQ of dramas Beethoven Virus, Damo: The Legendary Police Woman, and the film Intimate Strangers, directs the series with screenwriter Cheon Sung-il of L.U.C.A.: The Beginning writing the script. Rising actors Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, and Yoo In-soo make up the promising cast.
KBS2 2022 Korean Dramas
Crazy Love
Crazy Love chronicles the story of a genius Mathematics tutoring center CEO (played by Kim Jae Wook) . He receives a death threat and tries to seek out the murderer by pretending to suffer memory loss.
He even enters into a sham marriage with his introverted secretary Lee Shin Ah (played by Krystal Jung), who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Between them, a scary yet sweet romance blossoms. The show is directed by Kim Jung Hyun who was behind dramas Jugglers, My Fellow Citizens and Awaken.

Yoon Shi Yoon, Bae Da Bin, Oh Man Seok, Shin Dong Mi, Seo Beom Jun, and Ye-bin Choi Ye Bin are the lead cast of KBS2’s first-weekend drama this year.
It threads on the story of how the Lee brothers look for women in order to occupy the apartment offered by the elders of the family who are worried about them still not yet married. If there is one thing these three brothers have in common, they are all competitive.
Even if they are not interested in marriage and do not need an apartment, they were driven to compete to get the merit – in this case, the offered apartment.
Going To You At A Speed of 493 km
A refreshing sports drama layered with romance is featured in this new series set in the world of badminton. Playing the lead roles are lauded rookie actors Park Ju Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop. Their combined notable portfolio includes Mouse, Extracurricular, Zombie Detective, Sisyphus: The Myth, Stove League, and The Witch’s Diner.
The two actors are set to portray contrasting images of badminton players. One views it as a passion while the other a profession.
Minamdang: Case Note
The drama adaptation revolves on an amusing and cryptic investigation by a profiler-turned-con-artist and a feisty detective.
Directed by Go Jae-hyun, who is recognized for his prowess in melodrama and action genres, the series will be penned by Park Hye-jin. Their combined portfolio includes Dinnermate, Player, Syndrome and The Emperor: Owner of the Mask.
Marking his return to KBS camp since Hello Monster, Seo In Guk plays the role of Nam Han-joon. He is a former profiler who becomes a conman. Han-joon boasts amazing fortune-telling skills, handsome looks and splendid sweet-talking abilities. Using his profiler knowledge, he accurately identifies and solves what customers want, completing it with efficient after-sales service.

Red Heart
Red Heart depicts a fictional historical drama. It chronicles the tense political confrontation between a king who dreams of becoming an absolute monarch and a kingmaker who wants to turn the king into a “royal flower”.

Tomorrow
The fantasy webtoon series Tomorrow comes to life on the small screen led by SF9’s Rowoon and Kim Hee Sun. Written by Rama, the series shares the story of a dispirited job-seeker, Choi Joon Wong (Rowoon). He tries to take his own life for not finding a decent job. As he tries to take his own life, he also saw a man trying to jump off the bridge.
Joon-wong aims to save him, but the two fell off together. Grim reapers of the Crisis Management Team arrive at the scene late. With their mistake, Choi Joon Won fell into a three-year coma, and his soul escapes. Due to that, he gets a job in the underworld and helps people who don’t want to continue living.
Doctor Lawyer
The series chronicles the story of a genius surgeon who became a lawyer specializing in medical litigation after losing everything through a rigged operation. He collaborates with a prosecutor in charge of medical crimes who lost their only family and lover due to the operation.
Aiming for a heartwarming and exhilarating medical-legal drama, it aims to present punishment for people who believe that they can rank or disregard people’s lives. It also comforts victims of unfairness. So Ji Sub and Im Soo Hyang star as the lead pairing.

A Superior Day
Derived from a popular webtoon of the same name by Aruani, the series realizes the idea of “only the strong survive”. It is a 24-hour thriller in which the most ordinary man must kill the serial killer who lives next door to save his kidnapped daughter.
Jin Goo takes on the role of a firefighter who has to rescue his kidnapped daughter. Ha Do Kwon suits up as a contract killer who pursues a serial killer. Rounding up the lead cast is Lee Won Geun who portrays a serial killer who believes he is superior to anyone else in the world.
Missing: The Other Side 2
Another anticipated installment to a well-loved series, OCN has decked Missing: The Other Side 2 in its roster this year.
Kim Wook (Go Soo), a con man who stumbled on a village inhabited by dead people, whose bodies have not been found yet, spins the story of Missing: The Other Side. He creates a connection with Jang Pan-suk (Heo Joon Hoo), a mountain dweller, who also sees the mysterious Duon village and its people.

Juvenile Justice deals with a judge who especially dislikes juvenile delinquents, but later realizes the troubles that children face in society and how society is limiting them to not become better. Director Hong Jong-chan who directed Live Up to Your Name, Dear My Friends, and Life, sends a message about juvenile delinquency and social neglect through this new series.
Talented actors Kim Hye-soo, Kim Moo-yul, Lee Sung-min, and Lee Jung-eun will act as associate and head judges at youth court, portraying the everyday lives and concerns of judges.

The series narrates the story of three young men who enter the world of loan sharks in pursuit of money and become involved in a huge predicament. Based on the original Naver webtoon of the same name, Midnight Runners director Kim Joo-hwan will write and helm the project.
It will be bannered by Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, Kim Sae Ron, Park Sung Woong, and Heo Jun-ho.
Love to Hate You
Heralding a fresh romantic comedy, Kim Ok Bin, Yoo Tae Oh, Kim Ji Hoon and Go Won Hee star in this new Netflix series. Depicting the warlike love between two men and women, the drama will be penned by Choi Sooyoung (My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Old Miss Diary).
Queen Maker
A master of image-making and controlling the strategic planning office of a large corporation jumps into the election campaign to make a human rights lawyer attacking a conglomerate company.
Headlining the series are notable actresses Kim Hee Ae and Moon So Ri. The screenplay will be written by Moon Ji Young (Style, Who Are You) with director Oh Jin Seok (Yongpal, My Sassy Girl) calling the shots of the production.
The Bride of Black
Aiming to present a realistic satire, the series follows the desires of those who dream of turning their lives around through marriage and remarriage in order to enter or maintain a high society.
It is planned to sharply depict a commodified marriage and a snobbish real society. Kim Hee Sun, Lee Hyun Wook, Jung Yu Jin, Park Hoon, and Cha Ji Yeon complete the lead cast.
The Sound of Magic
Netflix conjures a magical world worth exploring in its newest original series, The Sound of Magic! Top-billed by Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, and Hwang In Youp, The Sound of Magic is based on the popular webtoon Annarasumanara.
Helming the project is director Kim Sung Youn of Itaewon Class and Love in the Moonlight fame. Penning the script is writer Kim Min Jeong, who worked with him on Love in the Moonlight.
It is a touching drama about Yoon Ah-yi, a girl who had to grow up too fast, and Rieul, a mysterious magician who — although grown-up — wants to remain as a kid.
Suriname
Top-tier actors collaborate in this series about the life-threatening journey of a civilian businessman. He is left no choice but to assist in the secret operation of the National Intelligence Service to arrest the Korean drug lord who has taken over Suriname, a country in South America.
Renowned film director Director Yoon Jong Bin (The Berlin File, A Violent Prosecutor, The Spy Gone North) is set to orchestrate the series. The series stars Hwang Jung Min, Ha Jung Woo, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Yeon Seok, Park Hae Soo and Choo Ja Hyun.

From Today We | Channel A
From Today We (LT), it is a work based on the popular American rom-com TV show Jane The Virgin.
Directed and written by Jung Jung Hwa, the series follows the eventful life of a woman named Oh Woo Ri, who wants to preserve her chastity before marriage. However, due to a medical examination mistake, she ends up getting pregnant.
Notably, the series is a reunion drama for Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon after a decade. They both debuted in the drama, New Tales of Gisaeng.
Anna
Directed by Lee Joo Young, Anna is a thriller drama about a woman named “Anna” who has ‘Ripley Syndrome.’ This disorder is considered a type of antisocial personality, wherein an individual has a hard time communicating with others and believes in a fictional world.

Arranged in an omnibus format, Our Blues flaunts a powerhouse cast including Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Han Ji Min, Kim Woo Bin, and Uhm Jung Hwa.
It is a drama that contains consoling messages for people traversing the end, climax, or beginning of their lives. Bittersweet life stories run in this series set in the backdrop of warm and lively Jeju and the cold and rough sea. Song Hye Kyo reunites with writer Kim Eun Sook is an 8-episode drama, The Glory, which also confirmed prized director Ahn Gil Ho on board the project. It depicts the story of how a victim of school violence proceeds with revenge plans on the perpetrators and bystanders.

Becoming the hot topic for Seo Yea Ji’s return, the series foretells a story that exposes the origins of a 2 trillion won divorce case filed by a Korean company, as well as the divorce controversy involving an upper-class couple.
The King of Pigs | TVING
Meeting viewers via TVING, it tells a mysterious serial murder that began with a message from a friend 20 years ago, causing ‘memories of violence’. Kim Dong Wook, Kim Sung Kyu and Chae Jung An star in the drama helmed by Kim Dae Jin.
